Welcome to Sweet Savanna.
We pride ourselves on our fully organic and all-natural honey, made by wild bees in the forests and savanna's of rural Tanzania.

The unique flavour of Sweet Savanna comes from our fully organic process:

Instead of mass-bred and pollen-fed bee farms, we give naturally existing wild honeybees a safe space to produce their honey, giving us a nectar made from thousands of varieties of flowers and plants.

About Us

Pure & Unprocessed

Our honey is bottled raw and unfiltered ensuring that it has maximum flavour and retains all key nutrients.
As the honey is produced from a blend of 1000's of seasonal wildflowers, Sweet Savanna has a complex and rich taste reflecting the wide variety of floral plants that are present across the Tanzanian Savannah and Forests.

Natural & Sustainable

We use traditional environmentally friendly cultivation and harvest techniques to ensure that our honey is completely natural and sustainable.
By providing our bees with a safe home, they increase the local biodiversity and environmental quality.

Wild Honeybees

We do not buy bees. Our hives are populated by wild honeybees from the savanna's and forests of Tanzania to ensure that our production is working with, not against, nature. We provide the wild bees with a safe home where they can continue to pollinate the local area and grow their numbers. In return, they provide us with their excess honey in a win-win relationship between human and bee.
